Where We Might Ride, If You Were Here

My friend Debbie L. has access to a pretty cool 'virtual tour' feature that is Web-based, and created this 360-degree panorama on a recent ride we took out on the backside of our Idaho ranch.

It's a gorgeous day today, and I'll be saddling up to head back out there as soon as my work day is done!

Wow...Juli!

What a great place you live in....would make someone who never rode a horse want to ride!

How's your snake situation???

Snakes: not many, except for the occasional garden snake. Nothing poisonous.

You'd be more likely to encounter a moose or herd of elk!

I wish our weather would behave. I'm trying to get my horse in shape for shipping off yearlings in October but the weather this week has been 30-40 degrees, wet and windy. Yuck!

Too cool, Juli! I know exactly where she was standing... :-)

Your weather sure beats mine. Beau is in his big purple Weatherbeta Arion with the attached neck cover out grazing in the cold Denver rain.

It's over 90 degrees here today, nice bonus for the first week of autumn.

Oh what great memories I have after seeing this......riding the fire trails around monster sized grass seed fields.....the douglas fir, vine maple, and magnificent old oak trees winding around these fields....beautiful.
