Today's View Out My (Writing) Window

Horse&Rider has reasserted its claim on my kitchen-table working space, and that puts a view of the barn directly over my left shoulder, via sliding glass doors.

This is your You Are Here photo of the day.

The white horse is turquoise is Miss Rose. The figure in plaid behind her is Corky.

The untracked snow cover is fresh. And that air, at around 7 degrees, is January-crisp!

That is a beautiful view - even though it is cold. 7F sounds kinda tropical though, it is around -13F here!

Love the mountains/hills in the background. Glad your equines are out in their blankets instead of trapped inside!

Mikey - 60? Can I come visit??? lol

Hello, this is the first time I have been to this blog. I read about in the magazine, never took the time to check it out. I couldn't figure out how to ask a question, so I added it to comments. I hope it works. I came to ask for help. I am afraid to get back on a horse. I am 38 and have been on horses all of the 38 years. I had a scare 2 years ago. I didn't get hurt or fall off. We took an advanced trail and after we got up the slippery and steep slope I was in tears. I have ridden my old reliable mare since, but now I have a new horse and yesterday I couldn't get on. I started shaking and just put him up. I know this has happened to someone else and I want to know what to do the get over it.
