Quick Question for You

I'd like to know how you found my blog. Did you read about it in Horse & Rider? Click on a link from equisearch.com or from HorseandRider.com? Get a referral from someone? Stumble on it somehow?

just curious, I guess--so fill me in, if you would.

I found your blog when I was looking on StatCounter to see where my blog visitors were coming from. Someone had come from a blog that had yours listed in its links. I saw it there and checked it out. This is the address of the blog: http://blogs.chron.com/hoofbeats/

StatCounter is great for finding out where people are coming from or what they're searching for that leads them to you. Fun to look at.

(Sorry if you get two comments from me, I had technical difficulties.)

I found your blog listed on another blog on blogger.com that I visited and recognized you from Horse and Rider and bookmarked it so I can come back.

Don't even remember the blog I found it on now...obviously it was not as interesting as yours!

Juli,

I googled 'Horse and Rider' to see what has been going on in my favorite magazine from over 10 years ago and there was a note on the website about your blog. It's nice to see that you're back with H&R! (You had left for the Appaloosa Journal at one point, and shortly after that I had (unfortunately) left behind the horse world and my stack of H&R magazines for college.)

I was looking for help with a problem, my horses are trying to eat down the barn and it does not matter what I put on the wood. your blog showed up on equine search, so 'HELP'

Re: wood chewing--

Different things seem to work better in different situations. I recommend doing a search on Google for "stop horses from chewing wood."

Since treating the wood itself isn't working for you, you might want to look into the feed supplement that is made for this purpose.

Read a couple of your articles in H&R before I gave up the subscription (I have a small driving pony so very little for me there). Saw your blog as I was scanning thru Equisearch (I kept the Equus subscription) and started to read and I will come back again as you talk about so much more than just "how to". I am in eastern NC so I get to hear opinions from far away. Very interesting.
